The Emotional Side of Weightloss

I look around me, and at me, and can’t help but be nearly sidelined by the heartbreaking, gut-wrenching, emotional side of weight loss.

On the good days the euphoria of hitting the scales and seeing a smaller number is totally empowering.  But on the bad days, reading the news about weight gain is enough to send me over the edge right down into a hot fudge brownie sundae.

I want to send out strength and steadfastness to each and every one of us working at the business of losing weight.  Whether its five pounds, fifty pounds, or 100 pounds; I applaud each of us for every pound that we’ve fought to lose and every pound that we are struggling with.

Treat yourself today to an extra Spark energy drink or a Coffeecino.  Low calorie but packs a punch of flavor and energy along with appetite suppressant.

Unless you are one of those people who can add water with lemon to your diet and drop the pounds like lemondrops, then this is hard work.  Don’t be discouraged.  Don’t give up.  For every battle you lose truly puts you one step closer to winning the war.

Here’s to 45 pounds to go.
